On the day of Ashura, when the world remembers the stand of Imam Husain (as) against tyranny and oppression, our community came forward not with swords but with sleeves rolled up, hearts open, and a fierce commitment to saving lives.
An uplifting event where 27 Madressas and over 120 teachers and volunteers came together. The presentations and workshops were very beneficial, and there were great opportunities for discussion and networking.
The SMCA Community Football Competition is an annual sporting event bringing together players, families, and supporters from Shia centres and wider community groups across Australia. This event fosters unity, healthy competition, and cultural pride while promoting physical well-being and teamwork.
The SMCA Women's committee's first event was a great success- Alhamdulillah. The aim of the workshop was to help mothers in the community navigate parenting through an Islamic framework.
